Scott Ellis has been in the insurance industry for the past 15 years. Scott started out as an underwriter and then moved on to claims for several years. He has been with The Insurance Smith Agency since 2008 as the personal lines manager and is an expert in auto and home insurance. Scott’s experience in all areas of insurance gives him the ability to help our clients with any of their insurance questions or problems. Scott is very dedicated to making sure that our clients are happy with the service and products that we offer to them. Scott also works with local small and large companies handling their business insurance needs as well as the personal and health insurance needs of their employees. Scott graduated from Virginia Tech in 1993 and is married with a son. His hobbies include golf, fishing, running, and reading.

Jamie D. Kemph is a graduate from George Mason University with a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Political Science. While at George Mason, she was a member of two National and one International Honor Societies. She graduated with honors, cum laude. Her writing work has won national awards and has been published in a scholarly journal. She has worked in the insurance industry as a personal lines underwriter and later as an auto and homeowners agent. Jamie also worked for a defense contractor providing research, economic, and business analysis from 2004 to 2010 before joining The Insurance Smith Agency as their office manager. She enjoys using her background to help with problem solving and providing the best possible service to our clients. Her hobbies include horseback riding, ballroom dancing, martial arts, and reading.
